This study aimed to develop the “Belonging Scale for Children” to measure the level of belonging of children in the early years. The study group of this research consisted of 88 children aged between 48-72 months who attended a pre-school education institution. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were performed to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Kaiser Mayet Olkin and Barlett Sphericity tests were applied to test the suitability of the data for principal component analysis. For the reliability of the measurement results, Cronbach’s alpha values of the scale were checked. The findings obtained in this study showed that the Kaiser Mayer Olkin value was .711, and the Barlett Sphericity value was statistically significant (p<.05). As a result of the analyses performed, it was seen that the single-factor structure explained 58, 105% of the model. In this context, it can be said that the relevant measurement tool is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
