ERASMUS Hareketliliğinin Kapsamlı Bir İncelemesi: Katılım Motivasyonları, Gidilecek Ülke Tercihleri ve Deneyimler - Çekya Örneği

Özet

Bu çalışma, öğrencilerin ERASMUS hareketliliğine katılım motivasyonlarını, hareketlilik için Çekya’yı seçme nedenlerini, hareketlilikten elde ettikleri yararları ve süreç boyunca karşılaştıkları zorlukları derinlemesine incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Veriler, 2023–2024 akademik yılında ERASMUS hareketliliği için Çekya’da bulunan 12 öğrenci ile yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, öğrencilerin hareketliliğe katılımında kişisel gelişim, akademik kazanım ve kariyer olanaklarına yönelik beklentilerin belirleyici etmenler olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Çekya’nın tercih edilme nedenleri arasında ise ülkenin yaşam koşulları, merkezi konumu ve İngilizce olarak sunulan derslerin çeşitliliği öne çıkmaktadır. Katılımcıların deneyimleri, ERASMUS hareketliliğinin özgüven ve uyum becerileri açısından kişisel gelişimlerine; iletişim becerileri ve farklı kültürlerle etkileşime açıklık açısından kültürlerarası yeterliklerine; dil yeterliliğinin artması, problem çözme becerilerinin gelişmesi ve uluslararası ağların genişlemesi açısından ise kariyer olanaklarına katkı sağladığını göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte, özellikle hareketliliğin başlangıcında kültürel farklılıklar, dil engelleri ve çeşitli bürokratik güçlüklerle karşılaşıldığı ortaya konmaktadır.
