Öğretmenlerin Mesleklerine Yönelik Tutumları ile Mesleki Öğrenme Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkide Özyeterlik İnancının Aracı Rolü

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmenlerin mesleklerine yönelik tutumları ile mesleki öğrenme düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkide özyeterlik inancının aracı rolünü incelemektir. İlişkisel tarama modeli kullanılarak tasarlanan bu araştırma, basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 660 öğretmenin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler, Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon katsayısı, t testi, one-way Anova analizleri ve yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılmıştır. Yapılan korelasyon analizi sonucunda mesleki tutum, mesleki öğrenme ve özyeterlik inancı arasında pozitif yönde ve anlamlı düzeyde ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Aracı değişken etkisini incelemek için yapılan yol analizleri, öğretmenlerin mesleklerine yönelik tutumları ile mesleki öğrenme düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkide özyeterlik inancının kısmi aracılık rolüne sahip olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlar öğretmenlerde özyeterliğin bireysel inançların ötesine geçerek, öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını ve mesleki öğrenme süreçlerini şekillendiren önemli bir mekanizma olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırmada yöneticilere yönelik olarak, öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerinin ve öğretim performanslarının, yalnızca dış değerlendirme yoluyla değil, aynı zamanda özyeterlik duygularının güçlendirilmesi ile daha etkili bir şekilde geliştirilebileceği çıkarımında bulunulmuştur. Öğretmenlerde mesleki gelişim programlarının öz yeterlik algılarını güçlendirecek şekilde uygulamaya dönük içeriklere yer verilerek yeniden yapılandırılması önerilmiştir.
